SUGAR
Being free of sugar for one week =
weight loss
better moods
better concentration
better energy


QUESTION
The current average Western Diet is over 1 kilo of sugar weekly, way too much according to the experts
Question is are artificial sweeteners a better option than pure sucrose/ sugar ?

My team leader is trying to cut  sugar out of her life .
I laughed and said do u still eat fruit . she meant man made !!
Sorry Honey (pun intended) sugar is still sugar the look i got was priceless . Just like Salt is Salt whether its from the sea or the mountains !!

Back to my team leader she was trying to eat a low sugar yoghurt almost threw up . I said u have to eat a zero sugar low fat .
How do u do that Michael cause I have to .
How do u only eat a handful of unsalted nuts cause i have to .
How do u eat the same salad 5 days a week for lunch cause i have to.

Im reaping the rewards Columbo has done it faster and he had to with his heart condition etc .
I had to I hit my rock bottom and my diabetes and the threat of insulin
Hopefully I'll keep losing until im a trim micky Smile
Cause Insulin like the pills i take make u fat

I got the shock of my life when i told the dietitian i had a subway 6 inch for lunch at the footy .
And night games a foot long .
Footlong was the same as 6 or 7 slices of bread
6 inch 3 or 4 slices
So much for a healthy meal
Solution subway wrap which equals 1 to 2 slices . yes over my daily allowance

Depends moderation does work on certain foods for myself .
But I can't eat a biscuit cause like an alcoholic I can't control myself .

However cutting things down like rice .

1940 dead


People 8 foot tall and over have had short life spans , for those that are dead
Vaino Myllyrinne is the oldest recorded , lived to 56 , the rest never made a half century

Most of those guys were probably skinnyish being so tall ?
Yet lived short lifes, that being the case , it dosent make sense

As a side note to weight loss my dietitian was in full nerd food mode Monday . He was saying there was a debate in diabetic circles that a type 2 diabetic should have a serve of carbs every meal .
appears I could be a case study feed me carbs (bad ones) every meal and i stack on the weight !!

I have heard on cruise ships that for $65 a day you can go on an all liquid diet. That could help.

Apparently that is the price for "all you can drink". Wink

I think the key thing that made primitive man thinner was having to chase the mammoth and then carrying it back whilst fending off sabre tooth tigers for 10 kilometres rather then the % of grains he ate. Smile

YO YO DIET
This is not a diet about eating biscuits
YYD Works for me
I reckon I must have lost 20 kilos in the last 3 years
The only problem is I have put in 30 kilos on that time period

YYD is basically someone who diets , loses weight, then goes of the diet and puts weight back on, sound familiar ?
This pattern can happen a few times to lots of times
