Channel 7s love affair with Glenelg continues
i believe this is our last televised game for the year & so it should be given our form in recent seasons...unless we make the finals
i thought this was the match to be shown for two reasons, the first being to stop criticism of pro Adelaide & Port telecasts & two because of the love affair that ch 7 & Sturt share

Re: Televised games
So, has the draw for tele games been decided for the whole year?
Sturt only had 2 last year in the minor round from memory befitting their poor season in 2013.

Re: Televised games
All televised matches up until State Game. A good result being that six of the first seven televised matches are on the main channel, and additionally prior to an AFL match (which can only mean a good thing in terms of exposure hopefully). Last season only nine of the 18 H&A matches televised were on the main channel.
ROUND 3
Saturday April 18
Port Adelaide v North Adelaide Alberton Oval 12:10pm SEVEN 12:00pm (prior to AFL at 3:00pm - Adelaide v Melbourne)
ROUND 4
Friday April 24
Port Adelaide v Norwood Adelaide Oval 7:10pm 7mate 7:00pm (head-to-head with AFL - Richmond v Melbourne)
ROUND 5
Sunday May 3
West Adelaide v Central District Richmond Oval 1:10pm SEVEN 1:00pm (prior to AFL at 4:00pm - Adelaide v Port Adelaide)
ROUND 6
Saturday May 9
Central District v South Adelaide Elizabeth Oval 1:40pm SEVEN 1:30pm (prior to AFL at 4:30pm - Gold Coast v Adelaide)
ROUND 7
Sunday May 17
Adelaide v Port Adelaide Balaklava Oval 1:10pm SEVEN 1:00pm (prior to AFL at 4:00pm - Brisbane Lions v Port Adelaide)
The team breakdown after those seven rounds will be
3 Port
2 Glenelg
2 South
2 Centrals
1 Sturt
1 North
1 Norwood
1 West
1 Adelaide
0 Eagles
Centrals, Eagles, Sturt and West were given the raw end of the stick last year with only two TV matches each, so at least Sturt hasn't had to wait 12 rounds this season for their first game and Centrals will have a couple on the board early. Still no luck for the Eagles at this stage.
ROUND 3
Saturday April 18
Port Adelaide v North Adelaide Alberton Oval 12:10pm SEVEN 12:00pm (prior to AFL at 3:00pm - Adelaide v Melbourne)
ROUND 4
Friday April 24
Port Adelaide v Norwood Adelaide Oval 7:10pm 7mate 7:00pm (head-to-head with AFL - Richmond v Melbourne)
ROUND 5
Sunday May 3
West Adelaide v Central District Richmond Oval 1:10pm SEVEN 1:00pm (prior to AFL at 4:00pm - Adelaide v Port Adelaide)
ROUND 6
Saturday May 9
Central District v South Adelaide Elizabeth Oval 1:40pm SEVEN 1:30pm (prior to AFL at 4:30pm - Gold Coast v Adelaide)
ROUND 7
Sunday May 17
Adelaide v Port Adelaide Balaklava Oval 1:10pm SEVEN 1:00pm (prior to AFL at 4:00pm - Brisbane Lions v Port Adelaide)

That's 3 up for Port already. Of course it's just sheer coincidence that their Chairman has a high rating morning show on Ch7.

12.10 pm game today & 1.10pm last week was bad enough, well i won't be there today & i refuse to give ch 7 any ratings, just finished work & this is just another step closer to the sanfl evolving into aflsa & becoming a complete joke & feeder competition

Re: Televised games
I am not sure if I am in the right thread or not but is there any live streams for interstate supporters when Seven show the game?
I am a North supporter and I am in Sydney until the end of the year before I move to Adelaide permanently and I looked everywhere for a stream of last weekend's game against Port but couldn't find anything.

Not live as I doubt 7 would allow that but matches are posted on youtube a day or so later.

Because the Channel 7 deal was only for 18 games, plus finals...
With 19 minor round games, C7 have a week off and it is this weekend...
The SANFL are going to LIVE video and audio stream the Glenelg v North game on the PH Monday...

Re: Televised games
at least with the ABC we all knew a game would be shown on Saturday afternoons, now it is all over the place & at differing times & days, i'm watching foxtel most of the time so i'm not sure if it is even advertised on 7's various stations

Yes, it is, Bayman...
It gets good promotion across any of the C7 platforms it is shown on...

Darts is awesome.
Can't say I've seen any ads either but then again don't watch channel 7 except for the news.

Does anyone know if C7 replay the games. I would love to see last weeks game.

I don't believe they do. I've looked for them on their catch-up service but they showed no 2015 SANFL games.
The other disappointing thing in this regard is that the SANFL system has now changed, so that whereas in the past you could order a DVD of any game, now you pay your money and get directed to a site where you download the game.
The only problem is, I discovered, that when I started downloading, it became apparent that it was going to take 10 hours to download one quarter. When I mentioned this to the guy from the SANFL (who was helpful) he explained it's because the AFL are insisting that the games be covered in High Definition, making the files massive. Thanks again AFL. This has basically rendered the service inoperative for me and, I assume, for others.
