definitely the classic ''4 point game'' the game appears to be an even contest & more often or not they end up a blow out, if it is a blow out North will win, if it is tight South will win by 5 points, in the end i'll tip North in a blow out by 43 points

South have their 2014 season on the line this week, have they improved to take it up to the leaders or will it be another disappointment for the faithful.
With everything to play for this week South will show the 'Southerners' they are a team worth following.
South by13 points.

South just, 8 points. They seem to have the staggers all of a sudden but this would be a good win to energise the club.

Here is a tip, North by 3pts,
South need to win this match at home to show they are the real thing, they wont and will narrowly miss, such is life at the SAFC!

i got the blow out team wrong
i witnessed South training with red & white cones out there today, not at any stage in the match did North look like winning or getting back in the game, South had numerous players that did their job today, while for North well i suppose Barns with his 3 goals at least gave them a target, i haven't got the budget with me & although he didn't do too much i was amazed no man out there would go near Norths number 29

Number 29 is Michael Virgin. With a name such as that, I don't think anyone has been near him.
You are correct Bayman, about the training run for South, something just wasn't quite right about the attitude of the North players. I just can't understand where they are at.

Sometimes you have a game where everything goes right and it just clicked for South yesterday, clean movement of the ball around the packs and through their defensive zones was the feature of our game yesterday. Having had some losses and playing poorly against the AFC a few weeks ago, it was a good thing to see our lads put it together and play the form that they have shown glimpses of at the start of the season.
As for North they looked flat and even disinterested at times. I would say that they simply had a bad game rather than look for anything further than that, their win over the Crows was a good match when I saw them last and they have a lot of potential with their list yet.

Re: Round 12: South v North - Saturday 5 July @ Hickinbotham Oval
Personally I thought it was Souths best game for the year. They did not have a passenger, were very hard and physical at the contest, won the contested footy, and were skillful in their delivery to our forwards. Eddy was on the end of most attacks and booted 7, and probably could have a couple more;but the pleasing thing was the form of Rolfe 3 and Hourigan who at last showed us what he can do with 3 also. All this with Brooksby not having his usual dominance."Darth" Veide also performed a great tagging role on Jay Shannon.
All in all a very pleasing result- cant wait to gain some revenge on the Crowsthis week.
