Can't remember much from the first two games 6 weeks into the season now, so will assume your reliable source knows what they are talking about

Trying to think back but thought Stevens had been pretty ordinary up until the port game so surprised by the votes against South, but don't remember a lot about the game to be honest.

He had 19 disposals, 5 marks and 5 clearances in that game...

I'm curious as to why Borholm got best for the above game, given he had 23 hit outs to Kurtze's 48, and had 6 kicks, 5 handballs, 5 marks and 2 goals. I know stats don't tell the whole story, but can anyone shed any light?

These votes come from within the club and they often show that certain players are rewarded within the club for roles they play. Mostly they get it right, but we agree that one looks very generous to Borholm.

We'll try to follow it up and check.

And I don't agree with west's votes for the last game, Hartlett was best on ground by a mile.

Schmidt was best at the Club, testy.

Yes I know that and Hartlett was given second best but I think he was best on ground.

Ben Newton leads from Joe Anderson after Round 6.

Having seen the Dogs v North game first hand, I though Josh Glenn was definately up there amongst their best players.

Would have probably gone:

3 - Glenn, 2 - Stephenson, 1 - Thomas (or McIntyre)

I thought Adam Hartlett's game for The Bloods on the weekend was fantastic, but in the Sunday Mail, 7 players were named in the best players for West and he wasn't one of them.
