In the last ever game at AAMI Stadium, it’s the dominant side of 2013 Norwood taking on the side who played in the first ever game at AAMI Stadium (or Football Park as it was known back then) North Adelaide.
Norwood have conquered all before them in season 2012, starting off with a big win over Port, and are currently on a 12 game winning streak (their last loss being against Port way back in round 11 at Alberton Oval. While Norwood have only lost three times this season, one of those losses is against North. Interestingly, in Norwood’s last two matches, they have kicked 14.16 on each occasion.
North started out the season strongly, and were chasing Norwood’s heels in 2nd spot for most of the season. At one stage they were 11-4 and were only one win behind Norwood on the ladder. North then had a late season capitulation, which coincided with Lewis Johnston being called up to the Crows, losing their last five matches badly, including being the only side after round 5 to lose to Glenelg, to finish in fifth spot with an 11-9 record. The North of the earlier part of the season came back for the finals though, belting Centrals by 62 points in the Elimination final, coming from behind to defeat the Eagles by 17 points in the First Semi Final, and belting West by 56 points in the Preliminary Final.
Will Norwood make it back to back, or will North become just the second side to win the League Premiership from 5th position.

Max Thring a huge loss, i'll presume Williams would replace him, Shannon must be doubtful so who'll replace him ?Norwood by all accounts are basically at full strength, i have no doubt North at full strength can test Norwood i saw it earlier in the year but i wonder whether Norwoods' freshness could be a telling factor over the concluding stages of a close Grand Final, i'll tip Norwood to win running away by 19 points.....Norwood 11.9.75 to North 8.8.56 with Ben Warren taking out the Jack Oatey Medal

Fittingly now that PA is more or less a non entity these days , the best 2 remaining teams in SANFL history are playing off
Well, I'm at least half right with the best 2 teams

Do you think it will either be a close, good game or an easy Norwood win? Hard to come from 4th and get injuries along the way, so pretty good effort by North and a better Grand Final prospect ( ) than another Norwood v West GF.
Looks to me like Norwood's on-ballers should have a picnic, especially with Max Thring gone. Will Shannon play? I think the players to watch for North are Ryswyk and Thiele, but I think their defence will be stretched big-time.

Less than 18 points (actually think even 12) either way and can't pick pick a winner. Tighter than many think in my opinion.

I think Norwood will smash North. Not only are they significantly better than any other side in the comp, they have had a couple of 2-week breaks during the finals, while North have been slogging it out each week.

being Footy Parks last match can we get over 40,000 people there ?
i actually think we can & for 2 main reasons
1, from memory we had a crowd in the mid thirties last year, so with respect to West, North have a much bigger crowd base/support
2, the last game at Footy Park & people will like to say they were at the last game etc
c'mon folks lets break 40,000

Halfway through the second quarter,
Norwood 5.5 35
lead
North 1.2 8
At this early stage of the match, Zorzi is all over the ball for Norwood and really lifting the side. North are struggling with skill errors under pressure, for the Roosters George Thring is probably their best and he to is having some bad disposal under pressure despite some good play so far to win the ball and cause turnovers.

Siren sounds to end the second quarter, Graham from North bags a goal on the siren,
Norwood 6.5 41
North 3.2 20.
Campbell is doing some good things for North, will be interesting to see if North can keep it going in the third quarter. Warren from Norwood is providing a very good focal point across the midfield clearly having been brought up the field by Bassett to hunt the ball around the packs, one thinks that to win the game North need to shut Warren down if they are to be a chance of winning the second half.

Once again, Norwood's opposition couldn't kick more than 4 goals in a grand final..
