Umm yes Scrappy- better Westerns included - The Cisco Kid, The Lone Ranger and The Big Valley (and I'd put My Friend Flicka in if I was sure it was a western)

only recently watched Clayton Moores' The Lone Ranger series which i've got, all great memories & the stories stand up, a youthful looking Linda Evans in The Big Valley among other noted actors like Barbara Stanwyk & Lee Majors which has been on fox in recent times, i loved The Cisco Kid as a kid & still enjoy O'Henrys' ''robin hood of the old west'' today, it starred Duncan Renaldo & Leo Carrillo, as part of the Pancho character Leo twisted english language around & made comments such as ''lets went'' instead of'lets go' & statements like that, Cisco is the only cowboy on film not to shoot dead another person......................off course at the end of the show Pancho would say something & Cisco would laugh saying ''Oh Pancho'' & laughing back Pancho would say ''Oh Cisco'' & they rode into the sunset
going back to The Lone Ranger for a second i can't remember the exact lineage but he is a great uncle or something of The Green Hornet'.................i didn't realize that such things had lineage apart from The Phantom

Never scene the show
The UK episodes ran from the year of the Melbourne Olympics to the year the Beatles visited Adelaide
When was it shown in Adelaide ?

For those who were old enough - which was the better "Matlock"?.....the Andy Griffith one or the Aussie police drama of the 1960's?

MATLOCKS
I would say most people I know would vote for Matlock Police
Im a bit crazy and would pick Matlock as I am an Andy Griffiths fan
Both were a bit different
Matlock Police was one of many cop shop Australian shows
I reckon Homocide is the best
Others that I liked include Blue Heelers and Division 4
Matlock was a defence lawyer
I would take him for 2nd in the exacta , with Perry Mason the winner

I stopped watching cartoons when I got to High School
Booney is still watching Bart Simpson !!!
PS
The only Simpsons viewing I did was on the ABC and Channel 9
That Simpson didnt worry about homers , he just hit runs

Re: Best TV Shows of All Time
Ah the days when there was a test pattern before programming commenced.
When my youngest brother was a little tacker (3ish) he used to be a ridiculously early riser. He'd get out of bed by himself put the TV on and then sit about a metre away from it on the floor waiting for the cartoons to start (this was in the mid-80's).

I do recall our neighbors TV in the late 60s
It was a rental TV
Had to feed 20 cent pieces in the TV to watch the programmes
It was Pay TV back then !
