Team of the era?

When talk of a best team or top x number of players of any given period, it always stimulates vigorous debate. I thought that it would be most worthy seeing as the landscape of the SANFL will be changed next year to come up with the team of the era that is coming to a close at the end of the season. The team of the 1991-2013 era.

If there is no dissent, I believe 50 matches in the regular season for a player qualifies for this exercise. Some 657 players have achieved this up to last round:

Would you think 75 matches would make it easier?  How much of a qualification would be necessary - 75 matches would require at least four seasons in the competition.

To be honest I would go 150 games.
That is about 7 seasons.
I think anyone who is going to make impact to be in a team of the era will need about that sort of tenure to make his mark.

50 or 75 games is only 2 or 3 seasons. I doubt that this is enough to make the argument for such a player.

And I just can't fathom a list as long as the original one. Too big a "sort through" for my head!  

Gee, surprised Adam Richardson is so closely comparable with Scott Hodges.

Won 4 Ken Farmer medals in 4 (or 5) years, though, and missed a lot of games with hamstring injuries.

Richardson would be definitely in contention for a spot in the side.

150 I think might be too much of a qualification, though I do know where you are coming from - that is certainly significant enough to make an impact.  For 50 games you need to play into a 3rd season, 75 would have to be four (60 matches for three seasons).  100 matches would take a player into a 5th season.

INITIAL 33 man squad. Fairly heavily influenced by the 90's particularly Port.

Tried to select from memory (of Sanfl performances only) which I confess isnt always the best.

Excuse - Was getting double vision going through the list so might have missed some that should be in.

Clear fault is too thin in Ruck.

I should have also added, apologies to Sheedy, Weatherald, Squire, Feast etc. It does do the head in!  Ginever, Atkinson, they all missed out simply because there was enough even with just the 100 game players only.  Perhaps the more everyone submits a team we can chose one based on the number of selections one gets.

And also, if I were to be more biased, I'd have had Grocke, Colville and Rogers in my side as well.

This is fairly heavily weighted to the last 10 years or so.

I'd like to see more teams from posters, as I then can make up one from all selections. I believe such a task should have a number of peoples input, especially from different clubs supporters to take out as much possible bias. So far, using weight of numbered selections and their positions, with my discretion being the casting vote, the team is:
