It was certainly an impressive animal. Was lucky enough to be on the fence for the race and as they went around to the barrier and perhaps it is because of all the hype around it, but it really did look like a massive horse in comparison to the others.

"Unflogged 80's marathon" all day, each day this week on Triple M. Some of it is NOT Unflogged (Bon Jovi??), but certainly plenty of stuff you just don't hear any more.

Ice Hockey in the AIHL. Man it is great close games and high scoring and big hits all on the ice. The Adrenaline (Adelaide's team) Split 2 games with Melbourne Ice last years champions on the weekend.
The fact that Fairfax media is interested in a write up is brilliant. If you have the chance the The Adrenaline are playing head down to the ice arena and have a look.

Just got back from Europe.

Ben Parkinson, a Paratrooper who was injured in Afghanistan in 2006 and lost both legs below the knee, has walked with the torch through Doncaster.
He also broke his pelvis, his back in four places, shattered his arm and chest, as well as sustaining a massive brain injury in the bomb attack.
