Cricket Superstar

I like how the focus is on nurturing and supporting the players, and there's no nastiness that you often get with these types of shows. Even when players are struggling or are 'out', Allan Border still encourages them - certainly not the 'captain grumpy' of old.

interesting you say that about Allan Border, i remember him publically ripping into Craig Mc Dermott (on the field) in an ashes tour, was around 1989, he tore shreds off him, the cameras and audio picked up the entire incident.........needless to say McDermott went on and grabbed a bag of wickets on that tour....maybe it was the "rocket" he needed...

Border was a great captain & Player, he was the beginning of the resurgence of australian cricket...tough and very uncomprimising...

I reckon that was '93 when Border ripped into McDermott.

Haven't seen it for a while, but George and Mildred was always a favourite whilst growing up, as was The Goodies

I didnt mind George and Mildred but I hated that little snot Tristram that lived next door. Now I think that all little kids Tristrams (or Tristans for that matter) are also little snots

(No offence to any Tristrams or tristans out there..LOL)

Lmao !!!' I totally agree FC .... He was a piece of work that kid and I used to hate when he came on the tv screen .... Awful child !!!

Both fantastic blokes and were very happy to teach my newies some handy tricks and answer any questions they had.

Their time was very much appreciated
