DEATH OF A KEYBOARD LEGEND
Ray Manzarek the Keyboard player of 60's pop group The Doors has died of cancer at the age of 74.
He was regarded as one of the best keyboard players of all time.
Manzarek was the founder of the Doors who's lead singer was the legendary Jim Morrison. They had a string of hits in the 60's and early 70's and are in the rock & roll hall of fame.
On a personal note The Doors were one of my favourite bands and I still put on there CD's, I just love what they recorded.

Re: DEATH OF A KEYBOARD LEGEND
Such sad news. Many years ago I read his autobiography and felt it was very insightful into what life was really like inside The Doors.
One of my all time favourite bands.
