Events in your life often have a song that reminds you of that event or time in your life. Sometimes you just hear a song somewhere and can't stop humming it for days.

What songs are like that for you?

lately, for me, some have been:

'Vienna', by Ultravox - I was thinking about being in Vienna in a week's time when West will be playing Glenelg, can't stop humming it.

"Golden Brown', The Stranglers, was No 1 in England one year I was driving a caravan around for a month or two.

'(Where do you go to) My Lovely(?)', Peter Sarstedt, same time, same year.

'Never Tear Us Apart', INXS, millions of reasons.

''Salt to the Sea', Tim Finn, a Paul Hester ode.

Heard this oldie on the radio the other day whilst driving, it's a classic and a huge hit in 1968 for Jeanie C Riley...

In the clip below is a gorgeous Barbara Eden giving it to the Harper Valley P.T.A. Smile
