Momentum Table - Coaches
This, of course, is highly subjective, but here goes.
Nathan Bassett - Has turned Norwood into a smooth running machine. Everyone knows the system and personnel changes don't affect Norwood as much as some teams.
Andrew Collins - Has had plenty of critics and been panned for his game plan. Seems to be working a miracle conversion. A passionate 'keep the SANFL AFL free' spokesman too.
Josh Francou - Has quietly improved North, bolstered by local players mainly, but keeping the attractive style. Not doing anything wrong at all and looks a long-termer.
Roy Laird - Has the runs on the board in Bradman fashion, but facing his toughest test. Trying to regenerate his team and that involves short-term pain. His judgement will come later in the season.
Michael Godden - Goddsy was God the year before last, maintaines that with the Eagle's revival last year, but will come under the pump this year. may need to reconstruct the personnel a bit, but we all love him.
Kris Massie - A quiet pre-season at last and a good win to start. Not the first coach to suffer at the hands of the Redlegs, so his test comes over the next few weeks.
Ron Fuller - A few years in now and must see results this year. His isde looks good on paper, dangerous midfield, dangerous forward line, improved defence. They don't play on paper, though, or seemingly at Noarlunga.
Seamus Maloney - My feeling is that he's doing as well as possible, given a sub-salary cap squad and a financially strapped club. Needs to be given more time yet before being judged.
Ken McGregor - Might be wondering what it's all about and what is expected of him. Too early to tell, but he must be confused. if he's not, then we should all worry,.

Started well and did well last year but lets wait and see . 2nd year can be harder but if he has changed things then might be OK.

I would like to know how much responsibility a SANFL coach has for their clubs list these days? I rate Godden as high as any other but have concerns over the quality and depth of his list.
