I saw him in concert way back in the seventies at Apollo Stadium and he was great on stage, a very versitile performer who could take on any kind of music.

Little Egypt is a Elvis cover , and I like it as much as the Elvis version
Ray actually sings it in a unusually refrained manner !

Not sure if I can call him a musical genius
But I can call him as a someone ventured someone gained musician
His uncopybook style of singing is what makes him so damn good to listen to
