Norwood v Glenelg at Norwood on Sunday
Should be a very good game. Norwood think they were unlucky last week, Glenelg were pretty effeicient in seeing off the Eagles.
Has Norwood's form tailed off a bit?
Maybe it has, but it should have too many guns for the Tigers at Norwood.

very tough for us as they are the best team in the comp at the moment, however i think their form has tapered off a little, i watched the friday night South v Norwood match & South had them on toast at half time & they didn't know how to put them away & a lack of discipline (M. Sandery...no surprise) didn't help South & got Norwood back into that match & obviously they lost albeit narrowly last week.......i think what ever the outcome it'll be a lot closer than last time we met

I'd like to think Norwood would win by at least 4 goals, but play like we did last week and Glenelg could pick us off. We'll need to be somewhere near our best to win it.

good luck to young Kane Murphy in his debut playing with Norwood, for those that don't know he is the son of former Sydney player David

My main worry over Kane earlier in the year was although he obviously has good skills and an acute knowledge of where the goals are, he was having trouble finding the ball on a consistent level, However, he has been getting progressively better over the past few weeks, and last week had a very good game in the reserves and deserves his chance.
Obviously, I hope he does well.

Re: Norwood v Glenelg at Norwood on Sunday
I think the crowd was around 3600, unfortunately it rained about the time some people may have been debating whether or not to go to the footy.
From a Norwood point of view, a far better effort than last week, and nice to be back on the winners list, but I think it's also fair to say Glenelg's intensity was well below what North threw at us at Prospect.
Norwood pretty much set the tone with an excellent 1st quarter and sealed the game by half time with a sound 2nd term. Not sure when Ruory Kirkby was injured but he was struggling for most of the match.
The game started in strange fashion when Luke Jericho broke down in the warm up. Christian Roocke, who had played in the Reserves, was called upon to join the interchange. Apparently Norwood have to provide a doctor's certificate to the SANFL by tomorrow.
Nathan Batsanis was best on ground with Brett Zorzi not far behind. Zorz is a marvel, at times he makes the difficult look almost easy. Terlich's effort was a 500% improvment on last week as he gave it his all.
A very even team performance from Norwood with no passengers, Phillips booting 4 goals and Warren 3. For Glenelg, they were best served by Davenport and Lynch.

Norwood were lucky !!!
they were LUCKY they outworked, outmuscled, had more poise, composure & skill level, their decision making, their endeavour & their numbers at the fall of the ball, so yes they were LUCKY as someone once said

Yes, that was easily mark of the day. Pity we don't see more marks like it these days.

I had my head down typing at the time when Butts took the hanger...
Hopefully it is part of the AdelaideNow highlights and I can see it...
