GIven that Vic Metro are often the team to beat, it will be interesting to see if their loss to NT was just a 'one-off' and whether the played a second-string team in that game.

Since the SANFL changed to Under 18's, the results have been much improved in this competition.

Their best players were probably being "rested". That seems to be all the rage these days.
