It would be easier to get off the bottom if we were able to spend what other clubs spend on players.

I’m hearing that Westies have signed a tall player from Norwood whose name escapes me & Tom Rundle is coming back

I’m hearing Brady Searle has or is about to sign with West, I presume he understandably was gutted when dropped late in the season…very good pick up for Westies’

And would have a connection with Hartlett from when he was an assistant at The Bay.bayman wrote:I’m hearing Brady Searle has or is about to sign with West, I presume he understandably was gutted when dropped late in the season…very good pick up for Westies’

That’s true BP but there’d be two dozen more players with the same connection, he’s very close to Callum Park

Wilson won’t be playing until the latter part of 2024 due to a knee injury.Hardly played in 2022 due to a shoulder injury.
He’s a gamble and the club definitely needs to sign a couple of genuine quality players other than him if we are going to move up the ladder.

Re: All things West Adelaide in 2024
Wilson is a quality tall mid like the trend in the afl these days.
But his body has let him down nearly every year.
His breakout footy in the Blues 2016 premiership year is a long distant memory.
A disappointing sojourn with the Crows didn't produce the afl rewards he would have been looking for.
However, when he gets on the park and if he can stay healthy, West could benefit from the flexibility and skill that he offers.
Hopefully he has a few years of good footy in him.

Perhaps when he’s back he can be used as a forward only, he’s been successful when thrown into attack in the past

Is a big number ball winner only playing part of the season as he travels overseas?
It won’t be a walk in the Park for West in that case

I think West missed a chance to make some money, as soon as the West v Glenelg womens match concludes the bbq shut, why shut when another game was on ?
Unless they sold out it was a Bad move

Well done to West in a close one.
1700 I read at this game.
That seems a good turnout for a country game 2 hours from Adelaide.
That should encourage the sanfl to put on more of them.

There is a couple planned for later in the year, Murray Bridge is one but can’t recall the other, might be Victor but I’ll check and get back to you
