Recruiting Value
Just for fun, I've 'rated' each Club's recruiting by gib=ving a value to recruits, ranging from 4 for a delisted AFL player, to 1 for a lower level player.
Here's the result (which proves nothing and doesn't take into account the value of losses, etc)
WWT 27
NWD 23
WA 22
GLG 22
SA 12
CD 10
ST 8
NA 4
Glenelg's total should be discounted for returning players.
Biggest losses are from WA, WWT, CD without going into the sums yet.

Re: Recruiting Value
If you did the same with the losses, I think most clubs would come out on the negative.
Experienced players with 100+ games under their belt are always hard to replace and most recruits come with a question mark over their ability to contribute straight away.

Coach Sheedy did a pretty good job in 2020 in bringing in unheralded players to come up with a Premiership team. Wave the magic wand again !!

I believe SA will be rocketing up that list shortly...
