Yes.
I'm guessing then that it might involve players currently 'training on' with AFL clubs? Would Angus Baker be one?

No not that Im aware of.....but he'd be handy..!
In light of todays developments, ie being sodomised by the AFL for the 4th time in 4 years, I dare say we are in the market for a ruckman.
If anyone knows of a young ruckman with some potential, send him to South Adelaide, even if he doesnt want to go there, he'll be there 5 minutes and straight on an AFL list.

I'm surprised a club didn't look at him earlier..can't believe he was the same player that played for the crows reserves

Isnt it what . But funny reading some South supporters response. It has nothing to with who you play for troops.
It is just a joke . Why arent people standing up and doing something about how the AFL rule the game.?
is that rule the game or ruin the game ?

Re: South Adelaide all things 2021
2018 Keegan Brooksby (West Coast)
2019 Hayden McLean (Sydney), Michael Knoll (Sydney)
2020 Keegan Brooksby (Hawthorn
2021 Paul Hunter- St Kilda
so these are the players we have lost on the eve of the season over the last 4 years. The more astute will note they are all ruckmen and around or over 200cm. The sad irony is that Michael Knoll was delisted by Sydney at the end of the 2020 season. His first option was to return to South Adelaide but did not wish to play second fiddle to Paul Hunter.....he signed with Norwood pre Christmas..

That is extremely cruel luck b&w, the sort of luck that only seems to dog clubs like yours and mine.

Re: South Adelaide all things 2021
Thanks
what gets me is the vf whoops afl is all about integrity & having extra drafts after Christmas etc shows they DO NOT CARE about INTEGRITY of Australian Rules Football AT ALL
if i were in a position that i could but unfortuneately work gets in the way i'd be contacting the SEN Victorian shows & putting that point through over & over again at them

Re: South Adelaide all things 2021
The Panthers secure former Lion Sam Skinner for 2021.
The 23-year old will make his way to Flinders University Stadium in 2021.
Measuring in at 198cm, Skinner is listed as a key defender but is also pretty handy up forward which is where he play a majority of his football in 2021.
Being taken at pick 47 of the 2015 NAB AFL Draft from Newborough (Vic)/Gippsland U18, he would go on to play three games for the Lions at AFL level, averaging one goal per game.
Also....
Sam Gaden is a promising ruckman and key-position player. The 195-centimetre, 94-kilogram young gun played junior footy with East Sydney before moving on to UNSW-ES Bulldogs. It was a packed 2019 campaign for Gaden, who represented the Swans Academy in the NAB League, the Allies in the NAB AFL National Championships, and played five NEAFL games for the Swans.
