Mid-season draft Empty Mid-season draft

What is being proposed by the AFL now is to replace the mid-season draft with 3 periods during the season when you can draft players onto your rookie list, after AFL Rounds 4, 8 and 12. Could they possibly have any less regard for state league/second tier competitions?

They’ll have a monthly draft down the track.....if you are building a house you start with a solid foundation so everything above it all the way to the roof stays strong & with that solid foundation the roof doesn’t collapse.....having state leagues evolve as pure trial games will make the foundation shaky, not solid & that’s forgetting how disrespectful it is
