I only notice it at Richmond cause I’m there next door neighbour
Umpires whistles are loud here
As is the fence banging
And when the eagles song is played
It just stuck out last night
Mind you last weeks Souths song after the game was louder

It's the most user unfriendly app of all time.
Hopeless to navigate, drops out constantly.

Finally got it.
No commentary. Last year Covid was the excuse for that.
This year it's just disrespect.

Yes it can be good and bad, I find sometimes the commentary can be poor, good or biased. While I realise there has to be some budget restraints some of the camera angles arent great. But... it is a hell of a lot better than nothing at all!

Re: Digital Pass
How many posters have purchased the Digital Pass in 2021?
What are your thoughts on it to date?
Some new commentators and sponsorship arrangements has raised the bar significantly.

Re: Digital Pass
I have purchased the digital pass.
So far I have fought with sound issues, constant freezing, and video not loading at all on multiple devices.
And the audio only stream is useless to listen to unless you're constantly keeping your phone screen illuminated. The app needs to be updated so that the audio doesn't cut out whenever the app is in the background (like the AFL app, or even Spotify).
When it works, it's fantastic coverage.

Overall it's a good product, but isn't very user friendly.
Suggestions:
Make the log-in more obvious.
Get some commentary, even if basic, for the Reserves game. (Happy to volunteer)
Some very good commentators, but as much as I like Peter Walsh, he needs to concentrate on the game, not everything other than the game. He brings good colour, but it's often misdirected.

Re: Digital Pass
It's extremely frustrating to watch the ball being moved purposefully up the ground through a series of passes while Peter Walsh talks about a couple of bets he laid a few weeks ago. I assume he talks about anything other than the game he's at because he doesn't know the players participating in it. And the constant references to the scores at other games while play continues in front of him? If we were interested in the scores at those games then we'd watch them on the digital pass. Just call the game and forget all the other rubbish.

Not standing up for Peter Walsh . Big Phil would describe it better than I ever could .
I’d just say what I’ve seen following MMA ie UFC ,Belator( awful) and one .
If the MMA or kick boxing ect matches are going slow the commentary team has to talk about something . You think Peter Walsh is bad one MMA fighter calling is awful keeps going on about nothing and under hooks ! Be grateful we get something .

Yes, because comparing commentary for Combat sports seems relevant to calling Aussie Rules

What's the point of commentary if it ignores the game the commentary is supposed to be about?

Well I’ve watched the digital pass last year when the commentators went on about nothing to do with the game . But rather the local side one player played for .
I mentioned UFC commentators do the same thing when there’s nothing going on in the fight .
Sorry scrunch if you don’t understand different sports the same thing happens when there’s **** all going on .
