Split 50-50 raffles
As most of us would be aware several clubs are using the Split 50/50 raffle system on match days, where 50% of the money raised goes to the club and 50% goes to the winner.
Recently Split 50/50 changed their platform from a credit system (where you had to pre-purchase credits to buy tickets via their website) to the more conventional system of just buying what you want on the day. Unfortunately this meant the existing credits disappeared off their website. So I queried this on their Facebook page.
Within a few minutes of my post, I get a call from Andrew from Split 50-50 apologising for this and getting the link to the old website to me so I can use the remaining credit for now.
I must commend Andrew for the efficient way he responded to my query, and bent over backwards to resolve this issue.
So next time you see the Split 50/50 raffle signs at a game, throw a few bucks into it. Not only is is well run, but half the money goes to the club (and the other half to you if you win), so it appears to be a good way for the clubs to get some decent revenue. I can’t sing Split 50-50’s praises high enough.

Great fundraiser
But in at least one ground you will need to give the seller your mobile phone number
No mobile phone no can do

That’s for all grounds
That’s so they can text you if you win under the new platform. That is one drawback of the 50/50 system.

I normally buy a few tickets. You never know, I might win something one day.
Very good service from Andrew at the business, nice to hear some positive customer news.
