Digital Pass 2018 problems
The new Digital Pass 2018 version will allow login but then freezes on smart TV after not having any problems last season. Can login and stream and play replays on laptop. Smart TV also does not retain login details now. Are we the only ones with the problem? Our TV is 9 months old and download speed is 11 Mbps? nothing else has changed at our end since the end of last season. Does anyone else have any problems with DP 2018?

Not sure if this is helpful or not but i watch it on my laptop. I also have a google chromecast dongle plugged into my Television and can cast from laptop to a full screen TV.

I watch on my laptop too and just connect to the TV with a HDMI cable.

That works perfectly. I always used that method before chromecast. The Chromecast dongle is more portable.
I think Tappy's issue is with a smart TV , he should not use anything else.

Yes Lee. The SANFL app does not work well. Go to the SANFL website and log in through there. Had the same issue. Someone on SA Footy had the answer.

Last word on SANFL Digital Pass smart TV fail
My only point is that the claimed connection direct to smart TV with no hdmi cable does not work for me and many others...freezes at the point of video commencing. It is not a consumer problem...it is a software problem as all worked well last year and this year many various TV brands and internet connections are experiencing similar problems. Who really needs the inconvenience of rearranging the electronics to accommodate a hdmi cable when the product claims to enable direct connect to smart TV?

I've mentioned it somewhere before. Buy a Google Chromecast Dongle. Its not expensive and easy to set-up. It plugs into one of the HDMI sockets in your TV. It streams a good quality picture from your device and an improved audio quality. I actually stream from my laptop. Being an EPL fan who does not have Optus I regularly watch live streamed programs.

The vision and audio are way out of synch on the Ch7 coverage of West v Sturt on the Digital Pass for me.

Re: Digital Pass 2018 problems
I couldn’t be bothered going to the recent Power reserves v West match & settled to watching it on the digital tv at a mates place, I was actually impressed with the quality of the pictures coming through, I’ll be forking out & buying one next year as you can get every game now, that’s sensational for me as I can stay home & watch the neutral matches & save $14.00 plus food & drink, so it would pay for itself very quickly, as for the commentary I don’t know because we had the sound down

Your comment is even worse than SANFL commentary on any platform . What are you saying ?
Are you saying you don't understand my post?

Bayman, The prices are reduced going forward for the rest of the year and the money goes to your club. I'm impressed as well.bayman wrote:I couldn’t be bothered going to the recent Power reserves v West match & settled to watching it on the digital tv at a mates place, I was actually impressed with the quality of the pictures coming through, I’ll be forking out & buying one next year as you can get every game now, that’s sensational for me as I can stay home & watch the neutral matches & save $14.00 plus food & drink, so it would pay for itself very quickly, as for the commentary I don’t know because we had the sound down
I can watch a replay after a good win or forget after a loss.
