I've watched Reynolds since he was in primary school.
His physical skills and athleticism always made him the centre of attention in attack.
Has sublime goal kicking lefty skills.
Is a very good overhead mark.
That makes him a good target.
So why did he not make it at Carlton or even snake a rookie listing at Port?
I never saw him play defence or work to keep it in the area.
If Lokan can extract that from him, he will be very very good.
At 23 should be coming into his peak.
Is too good for sanfl reserves. Port was never going to be a pathway.
I think he hoped it would be, but as we know the afl system can be brutal.
I'll watch with interest how a new start at the Bay is the making or breaking of him.

Looking at the recruiting for Glenelg they have done extremely well think they will be big improvers this year. Good Coach with good list.

Halftime of an internal trial this evening at Thebarton oval, of the new players (well I think these are the right players but have no team list to go by) that have impressed are Marlon Motlop, he looks so smooth & silky, Jesse White makes a presence & has taken a few good marks, Luke Reynolds been going ok but his kicking is a bit lacklustre & Derek Wanganeen looks good & stylish

Mark Stone has been involved Fremantle
He was at Fremantle for the last few years , so will he bring a new more defensive game plan to Glenelg this season ?

Is North Adelaide recruit Nick Amato injured ?
Has he played a trial yet?
Have not seen his name in any line ups

Squad looks good, the Uber man from Freo should slot into defence well.
Still think we lack one tall defender and a backup ruckman but we have some good marking targets up front.

If I have overlooked any players or the above listings are incorrect , please post
Brad Agnew listed as being overseas in 2018, will he be back to play any games ?
Jessie White might just be the best recruit at this stage , but Glenelg have lost key position players in Darcy Fogarty who looks like he could be a very good AFL player, and Liam Mcbeam
Glenelg will miss BIG time losing Dom Barry
Lost some gooduns , but lots of talent as ins
Prediction
3rd-7th
Perhaps the hardest team to predict this season

1-3 after 4 rounds
Should improve the next few weeks
Need to be about 5-5 anything less makes it difficult to make the finals
Expected Minor round finish 5th-8th

9-9[6th]
Brilliant finish to season , and end up with the longest winning streak of all teams, being 6 wins in a row
Looks like the coach got them too late , when appointed
They eventually got some reward for the efforts they put in for just about all of the season
Glenelg have a lot to look forward to next season

Beat every team in the finals except Eagles. The defence really stood up in the second half of the season and was arguably the best performing in the league over that period.
A lot to look forward to if we can keep the main players together.
