Matt would be one of the most underrated SANFL footballers, outside of Glenelg's inner sanctum, in the last 5-10 years.

I remember when he was toiling away in the Reserves, being told he wasn't up to League standard, and look at his record now.

Easily one of the best in and under midfielders in the competition and probably the best tackler going around in the League as well.

Will the new Glenelg coach be returning to the SANFL coaching ranks?

Micky , you are just reposting rumours on another site to this. I think the original rumour was just someone trolling, posting a cryptic clue and looking for anyone to bite. Its a non story atm.

I was answering premiers & Mickyj post re Westhoff

As for Brett Turner yes has made the move to the bay, very good player but not sure we need another inside midfielder

Just thought I’d mention it seeing nothing much is going on at present

Central are imploding. In real problems off field . Now the success has gone , which was always going to happen , it wasn't planned for .Small supporter base and Pokies dont generate revenue. Kris Grant is under pressure I'd think.

How do you come to that summation?

They just signed a NEW major sponsor for 2 years.

Other clubs have a smaller supporter base.

Not sure what a new sponsor has to do with it. All clubs hope have them. I got told by a long time Central man who goes that they are in not a good place. Not sure but if you read it sounds bad

As far as I'm aware, Central are the only ones to have a new sponsor this year.

All that tin rattling 12 months ago to gather the funds to cut their coach was a shrewd move

Off field yes in trouble. 1 of 5 that got assistance from the SANFL due to their financial situation and rumblings about Kris Grant. Yeah ?

Yes very true. They received a handout so they could survive. Only 3 didnt.

1 will be ok , another if they have success the other 3 in real deep creek if they dont.

Hearing James Boyd quit / retired from Central after being told he would have played Reserves yesterday.
