Round 7: Glenelg v West - Sunday 17 May @ Gliderol Stadium
Glenelg weren't disgraced in their defeat to the Eagles while West inflicted more pain on North last week. Will Glenelg crack a win at home, or will West maintain their great form?

Another victory for the Bloods here to make us 5-1. I say 5-6 goal win

changed my mind, i think most know Milera & Button are out injured & possibly Scharenberg will be out due to an u/18's trial match..but wait there's more, there is another big loss as well, he's having a ''weekend off to get away'' i now think West by over 5 goals

Is it Sam Lonegran having the weekend off, with the latest Essendon thing popping up, again?

West have trouble at Glenelg and will likely lose their 4 kids, which will have quite an effect. They also haven't won a first quarter all season and won't want to have to play catch-up.

Massive danger game for the bloods. These sort of games we are expected to win comfortably but lose (like last year) or struggle to get the win.
Likely to be missing a few of our 18 year olds for an u18 trial this week so our depth will be tested. Hardy should come in and Klemke, Watchman, Middleton, Anderson, Johnson, Favretto and a few others will be looking at taking their place.
Hopefully we will win but not confident.

I think Glenelg are heading in the right direction, but Alleway, Milera and Button are big losses for them.

So bayman do we assume it's Alleway who is having a "weekend off to get away"?

i'm not saying a word, except to say that'd be a fair assumption

if spelly reads this, does he know the goals per match average of Justin Hardy against Glenelg ? i reckon he'd average at least 5 & possibly more, he has always killed us

OUCH!
reading the final score of this game from the other side of the world..
it poses a few questions..are Westies that good..?
are the Bays that bad...?
or is it a combination of both...??

The Bays were undermanned and bad.
West were scarily good.
Enjoy the travels, B & W.

Great game by the boys today. Fist time that I have seen us kicked 30 goals a game. Just a great team performance

Re: Round 7: Glenelg v West - Sunday 17 May @ Gliderol Stadium
the only thing that went wrong for West today was at the Richmond Restaurant tonight, they had a special roast delicacy on tonight & it seems the roast was burnt, yep they had on their menu roast tiger
as i posted on another thread, West ARE the real deal, yep we were undermanned & have no depth but West on the other hand showed they have plenty of depth & at times toyed with us running into an open goal, i thought we'd get smashed but not by 112 points but about half that, for us well it was a step backwards but i'm sure the coach would have learnt something about some players today
it was like men playing boys today
