celebrity crush
An article in today's advertiser about some identities in Adelaide and who made their hearts beat faster when they were younger had our new state football coach Graham Cornes saying that the lovely Raquel Welch being his one to swoon over.
He makes the comment that "there was something mesmerising about her in the bond movie when she walked out of the water, the whole world gasped ".
Can anyone spot his mistake ? What a blunder.

I used to have a massive crush on Lavinia Nixon back when I was a teenager and she was on Hey Hey it's Saturday.

Me? I'd take Ursula or Raquel or both. Not fussy.
Imagine a 007 movie with both of them. Wow!
That's 003.5 each.
As for Lavinia, nice girl, but her navel would not be in shadow at 12pm when facing north.

A lovely feature Chambo, but not a non-negotiable of mine.

Jennifer Hawkins. Hands down, IMO, the most delectable creature put on this earth.
She also seems to be as down to earth as possible for someone who lives a life so far removed from the daily grind of the average Joe.
Close behind her, Cameron Diaz, Katherine Heigl and Ollie Wines.

But aren't they all still alive? I thought that crosses them off your list.

Don't you mean "average Jen"? And are you trying to say Ollie hasn't got much between those very meaty thighs?
From this I glean that you have a thing for blondes.

"Average Jen"....well played.
As for blondes, the wife of 16 years is brunette, what do you think?
It said "Celebrity Crush", there was no mention of entering into physically demanding relations, so I'm happy to admit I've got a man crush on Ollie.

Thelma Todd passed away in a ''mysterious'' way when found dead in her car, parked in her garage with the motor on, in the 1930's....conjecture as to whether it was an accident or not
answer is Cheryl Rixon

No 96 was a little before my time, but I recall seeing a "best of" DVD dedicated to the greatest moments of that particular show and lets just say its fairly easy to see why it and Abigail were so popular!

I had a few but a couple of notables- Simon Baker Denny (before he became Simon Baker). He appeared at Lennies one night when E Street was big and he was appearing in Melissa Tkautz's music videos. I don't imagine there are too many current Hollywood celebs who ever went to Lennies.
Imran Khan- bumped into him one night in the lobby bar of the Terrace (before it became the Stamford Plaza). In person he was about a million times better looking than on tv.
I'm happy to note that they've both aged well.
