who watches Darts on tv ?
i find it a show like wrestling & the skill level of the dart players is simply amazing, the slow motion replay of darts is interesting when flying to the board

Re: Darts
the players championship is on this weekend, over night is the quarter, semi & the grand final in which i think the great Michael Van Gerwen will add to his ever expanding list of trophies....anyway there is a break between the semis & grand final & in that break there is the PDC World Youth Championship Final [best of 11 legs]
Max Hopp v Nathan Aspinall....has to be a relative of our own Big Phil, doesn't it ?
i've seen Max play & he is good but i'll be barracking for Nathan

Re: Darts
I watch it occasionally. The skill of the best players is amazing, perhaps if I consumed less ale I could hit the doubles more often. But I find playing darts with a beer in one hand is a natural stance

Re: Darts
MVG averaged 123.4 in his match this morning, this will mean nothing to those that don't understand the scoring of darts, but the most points you can get in one throw (3 darts) is 180

Re: Darts
Phil ''the power'' Taylor has announced this will be his last year of playing professional darts, aged in his mid 50's he's still very competitive & getting high averages but his doubles aren't quite what they used to be, he's still be in the top 10 in the world but nowhere near the dominating player he used to be, Phil had a win this morning over Michael Smith in the masters

Re: Darts
Auckland World Series final is on shortly, it is an all Australian final between Kyle Anderson & Cory Cadby
Anderson destroyed James Wade 11-4 in the semi
Candy beat Phil Taylor 11-8 in an absorbing & heated dual.....after the match Taylor got the dart board & signed the back of it as is the custom & asked Cadby to sign it, Cadby refused & showing no respect to the man who put darts on the map, so I'm hoping that Kyle Anderson wins the final
