Port Adelaide in 1953 and Central District in 2011 have something in common that no one else has achieved
What is it?
*Disclaimer* I can't be 100% certain, but I've gone over this for the last 40 minutes to work out this criteria

A clue - it's where they won in those years

I haven't checked but is it something like winning all their away games?

It has something to do with away games, but not that. Nor is it anything to do with the country.

I'll give you the answer...both times, that team has beaten the eventual premiers on their home ground twice that year. Of course in most years - 'even fixtures'; neutral matches as the third match; or even when neutral matches were played in the 70s to early 90s at Football Park or Adelaide meaning clubs did not play at all venues that year means that playing at opposition venues twice in a year is not an every year thing.
However, from 2001 to 2013 and at other times in years past this has been the case. The two instances are:
at Thebarton
Rd 2 1953 Port 12.16 Torrens 8.8
Rd 8 1953 Port 13.20 Torrens 10.10
West Torrens played Port at Alberton two rounds later and won that match. And also beat Port in the 2nd Semi and Grand Final.
at Woodville
Rd 14 2011 Central 10.9 Eagles 9.9
Rd 19 2011 Central 15.10 Eagles 13.7

Well, that'd be one of the more frustrating experiences in football that I haven't experienced following Westies.

Not being able to win 2 matches in a row would certainly be a frustrating experience for Westies fans.
Shivers, we Panther fans have nothing to hang our hats on either.
