A high powered and exciting game today. Fortunately the ground condition was good and both teams had a lot to play for. North certainly gave it everything they had and were a chance until very late in the game. But with Sturt having the dominant ruckman in the game. Kurtze 21 disposals, 9 marks, 45 hitouts. Plus two key forwards with 11 goals between them. We'd deserve horsewhipping if we'd lost it.
Now it looks like Norwood have suddenly become the big threat. If they beat Port next week, it throws the finals wide open.
