Davies leaves SANFL

Seeing online that Davies has left the SANFL.

Interesting to see how they replace him.

Most people I hear at Club level have said that he is a good guy, hard but fair. Be interested of people's opinions, without AFL Reserves slanting everything!

I've always found Chris very fair and open in his dealings.

Any coincidence with the Adelaide CEO about to depart?

Not sure if this is appropriate, but doesn't Chris Davies suffer from Cystic Fibrosis. Maybe this resignation is health related.

I'm sure it's not heath related. His reputation has made him an ideal candidate for several jobs on offer IMO.

Why would that SLANT everything, as long as he isn't a former Crow or Power person it shouldn't have any affect.

Will be joining the Port Adelaide Football Club, replacing the outgoing Peter Rhode...

Interesting appointment by Port Adelaide.

Rhode copped criticism over the years, from me at times I'll admit, but he has been part of our rebuild and renewed on field success and been a stable member of the football department over the last 10 years, especially the last 3 that has seen much improvement in many aspects of the football department.

A couple of names being floated for this one will be very interesting if they go through the process. One in particular would need to change a major part of their current role in football to be able to take this role.

Yes, have heard some interesting names being mentioned as possible candidates for this role...
 
One in particular would be very competent in this role and would certainly assist the League in kicking all the right goals...
