I'm not bad. A Mum
Busy at work, footy training, then Match Committee.
Very much a favourite day of the week.

Re: How are you?
I'm doing pretty good....
Feeling very blessed to have such a perfect little family now, but first week back at work this week and feeling flat about being stuck here dealing with so many mundane and insignificant things (and people), all the while missing them grow and learn.
That's life though I suppose, gotta pay for food and a roof somehow.

Re: How are you?
I'm real good,thanks.
Got some monies I won last week delivered into my account, long weekend this weekend then extra long 4 day weekend the week after for my annual boys trip away.
Two weeks away from full bathroom renovations, which means we can finally have the adjacent kitchen/dining room tiled ( we put a new kitchen in about 3 months ago and have a bare concrete floor at the moment ) and the splash backs all tiled.
Things are pretty good, thanks.

Congrats! ...and snap! My little boy Ashton came into the world on the 18th, second for me though.
You'll love parenthood mate. It gets pretty hardcore at times with the sleepless nights, teething etc, but the watching them grow and develop pays it back 10 fold!

No worries Bayman, anytime, sorry it didn't get the result you were hoping for.
As for me- I'm very well at the moment- came home last week and caught up with some great friends at the warrior disco. Have just changed jobs and am loving my new work and am about to have 3 weeks holiday (booked before I took this job and they were happy to still let me take it) which will be awesome.

Re: How are you?
I'm a bit edgy at the moment.
My younger brother and wife are booked in to have their twins this morning. They are at 34 weeks but need to come out as one has stopped growing. It's not uncommon with twins, but still.
What heightens the stress levels though is the fact that they had complications with their first child 2 years ago from which he suffered brain damage and now has cerebral palsy, so I would say they would be absolutely peaking out right now.
So we wait and hope and pray that everything will go smoothly this morning.....

All went well and I'm now a proud uncle to 2 little twin girls. Relieved & happy for my brother & wife.

Re: How are you?
Love reading how everyone is doing!
Congrats to all these new dads too !!
That's great news re the twins GN - and yes my husbands niece had the problem with the twins where one was taking all the nutrients from the other - and it was touch and go her whole pregnancy. They were IVF babies and she was determined that they were going to make it all the way through - they made it nearly to the end of term but were born very early (I can't remember exactly how early) - but by ambulance and emergency big rush to hospital when they tried to abort themselves. Well they were in hospital for a very long time, but were saved and happened to turn 4 today - happy, healthy little boys.
Miracles are out there.
