Such as lead a terrorist organisation responsible for killing dozens. Google it.
Pleaded guilty to 156 terror acts, including many bombings.

Re: R.I.P Nelson Mandela
He is held in such high regard because of his ability to overcome ill feelings towards the ones he once despised and work with them in an effort to unite a country. He was in such a position of power he did not need to reach out to the Afrikaans, but as a measure of the man he did.
He never claimed he was a saint or never denied his involvement in his earlier life.
He is quoted to say something along the lines of "I am not a saint, unless a saint is a sinner that keeps on trying"
Slightly poor form to highlight the more negative side of his remarkable life.

Re: R.I.P Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela did not simply once harbor ill feelings towards people, he and his wife openly led an organization that killed and tortured to death a number of people including other black people that did not agree with them. Google the term "Necklacing", its where Mandela had tyres placed around the necks of other black people and set on fire to burn to death in the most painful way possible.
Its important to realize that Mandela never apologized for the deaths that he ordered nor the heinous acts against people that he carried out, he was offered his freedom on a number of occasions on the condition that he renounce violence which he bluntly refused. He made his own family wealthy whilst his country has slid to a cesspit of violence where a black child is raped every three minutes. Dispute it all you like and remember him any way you please, it does not change the facts about who he is and the racist beliefs that he died with.

That article is from 'The New American', a production of the John Birch Society, a radical right-wing anti-communist American based organisation.
It tries to link Mandela with the Communist Party and then blame him for all the bad deeds of the Communist Party. They claim he was out to wipe out whites in South Africa, which of course is a nonsense. You won't find any criticism of apartheid in their articles, or any of the fact that Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years and then became the father of a democratic South Africa, preaching non-violence.
I don't doubt that Mandela was much more radical in his younger days. His strength and reputation lies in his actual deeds, which has won him workd wide acclaim.
Before people start taking the rantings of The John Birch Society as gospel, I'll put up a few of their other beliefs soon.

The media painted him as a "saint".....he was not in my eyes.
Each to their own though.
