Norwood 8.2 10.6 12.13 14.16.100
West      1.1  3.4   4.6    6.8.44

Norwood kill the Second Semi Final off as a contest by quarter time as they head into their third Grand Final in four years with a big 56 point win over West.  Is Norwood becoming the dynasty side of the 2010's? Can West bounce back next week against a surging North side?

agreed, i think North will have more chance of beating Norwood than West do & believe it'll be a better contest & in turn bring a better turn up in crowd numbers, Norwood have the mental edge over West, it's the same as when Port had the mental edge over Glenelg many years ago & Central had over us not that many years ago, i've seen it all before & there are other mental edges teams have had on others over the years

Only saw the first 1.5 quarters today on TV but Westies looked tired and flat.

There just wasn't much zip zap to their footy at both ends.

On the flip side, Norwood looked sharp, skilfull (hit targets) and very methodical. I note it was only 4 goals to 3 after half time. Maybe thye took the foot off the gas? However, it was 4.10, so perhaps bad kicking for goal was the cause.

Well, West didn't put players behind the ball today and were smashed anyway,

As I've been saying for some time, Norwood are currently one of the best teams we've seen going around for a fair while.

I doubt any team would get close to them right now.

3 of their top 4 ball winners are AFL players and Thomas is a class above anyone else playing ATM.

Westies are looking a bit battered right now and wil have a task to come up fresh for next week.

30 scoring shots to 12 says it all really. Can't see Westies turning it around in time.
