Sturt and 7th position Empty Sturt and 7th position

Sturt are currently in 7th place on the ladder. Should they finish there after Round 23, it will be the first time since 1984. Every other team from 1991 onwards has a 7th place to their credit.

When you've spent 2 seasons at 9th, and the memories are still vivid of our many spoons in a row in the 1990s, you see things a bit differently.
