The AOC Has It's Priorities in the Right Place Rolling Eyes
The AOC has the Nude Olympics in it's sights, again, this time saying their new name 'Nudo Lympics' is unlawful because it has a connotation to the Olympics. While the AOC have got their lawyers to send some strongly worded letters to event organisers Debbie and David Pillar, AOC officials have refused to comment on the situation.

Sir Joh part of the Commonwealth Games Committee in Spirit?
The Queensland Government is planning some Bjelke-Petersen-style laws as part of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018. Some of the bizarre laws being drafted include the killing of animals that stray onto Commonwealth Games venues, people living within camera range of Commonwealth Games venues to clean up their properties, limiting the number of gophers at venues, and the ability for police to pick up 'undesirables' and take them 'some distance from the event site'.

And I Thought This Only Happened When Australia was Playing in Oceania
Remember the good old days of the Australian soccer team in Oceania

Well, their Oceania heroics have been upstaged by Nigerian sides Plateau United Feeders and Police Machine, who won promotion into Nigeria's professional leagues with 79-0 and 67-0 wins. While Australia realised that 31-0 romps were pointless and moved onto Asia, Plateau United Feeders and Police Machine's big win may have been pointless too, with both sides (and the losing sides Akurba FC and Babayaro FC) being suspended by the Nigeria Football Federation, and are being investigated for match fixing.

Now THAT's Taking The ****
Just when you think you've seen it all at the Tour de France, a spectator throws urine at cyclist Mark Cavendish. Cavendish is reportedly 'sad rather than angry' at the attack, which occurred during the time trial from Avranches to Mont-Saint-Michel.

Ireland off to Australia and New Zealand
Ireland have secured the first of the two Associate sports for the 2015 Cricket World Cup after their tie with the Netherlands in their World Cricket League match saw them clinch the 2011-2013 ICC World Cricket League Championship. The Netherlands, Scotland and Afghanistan are still in the hunt for the final qualification spot for Australia/New Zealand.
