2 hours is a bloody long time to go with your heart stopped. I guess only time will tell how it affected his brain.
They're also saying on this morning's news that he's now breathing on his own too and has recognised family members and can move his arms and legs. But as you say only time will tell if there has been any brain damage. It's going to be a very long haul for the poor lad.

Brisbane win back to back A-League titles with a 2-1 win over Perth in the final. The result, however, was marred by a dubious penalty to Brisbane in the last minute.

Re: Soccer
A dubious penalty?
Perhaps a totally incompetent decision, exacerbated by a cheating soccer player falling over his own feet and then dramatically appealing for a penalty.
Once again, soccer in Australia shoots itself in the foot.

Summed it up perfectly - and I only caught a glimpse of it flicking between the two AFL games.
Clive Palmer would be rubbing his hands with glee seeing that.

Diving is an unfortunate and sadly accepted part of the game. It has ruined soccer and I just hope SANFL doesn't follow down the same path. It is already creeping into AFL and I saw "simulation" a couple of times during the North v WWT game. Not so much diving but a definate over emphasis by the player in trying to win a free.

In the EPL the race is back on. Man U drew at home and Man C won away leaving just 3 points separating them and the derby coming up next Monday.
Wolves, beaten by City, are relegated.
Reading are in the EPL next season whereas the relegation issue is already concluded. Doncaster, Portsmouth and Coventry are all going down to league 1
