Crowds
Some people are obsessed with crowd numbers, so they'll be pleased with this story from Adelaide Now.

MAKING game days family-friendly is behind a surge in home match attendance rates, West Adelaide Football Club chief executive Kym Russell says.
The Bloods' average attendance at City Mazda Stadium is now 2841, which is up more than 27 per cent on this time last year.
Russell said the club had a raft of strategies to boost home crowds and increase membership.
"We have been trying to appeal to the family audience and looking at how we can improve the match-day experience for everyone," he said.
"We've brought all our night games forward half an hour earlier from 7.40pm to 7.10pm so children can come along."
The club also has a family fun area at every home game with a jumping castle, balloons and different activities, including face painting.
At the end of last season West Adelaide had 1747 members and attracted an average home crowd of 2228, down 21 per cent on 2011.
"At the moment we have 1630 members which is up on this time last year, but we want to get that to 2000 by the end of the year," he said.
"I think we are on track, and of course it helps when the side is doing well too."
The chief executive said lifting game day attendances also helped improve players' performances.
"The team loves playing in front of big crowds - it really boosts their confidence."
"But it's not just about coming to games, it's about being part of the community and heading to the club afterwards for a drink or dinner."

Re: Crowds
I think ALL fans want their SANFL clubs to thrive and maximum attendances is obviously a key element to this. Some clubs are improving, others steady and some, including Central, on getting a decline in crowds...
