R2 - Brisbane V Adelaide
I know it's already Friday but I thought I'd start a discussion thread on this weeks game.
Good to see that Crouch will finally get his chance, although sad to see that it was at the expense of Johncock. Brisbane will be no walk over up there on their home deck, and they will be keen to redeem themselves after last weeks poor showing against the Dogs.
Likewise though, Adelaide have had a fortnight to stew over their R1 defeat and will dead keen to get out and make amends - particularly some of the midfield prime movers who were very poor against the Bombers.
Reports are that there is a good chance it will be a wet game also.
I think Adelaide will get over the line, but it will be a tough slog I reckon.

Normally struggle a bit with Brisbane, lose this and then lose next week and a 0-3 start
Reckon the Crows to win by 27 points, cannot see Dangerfield and Thompson being down two games in a row.
Have not lost two games in a row under Sanderson

I've seen Brad Crouch in all his SANFL games and he'll be really good for Adelaide.
He's an unobtrusive player, because what he does is effective and a lot of inside work which is so important, but which many don't pick up.
He took time out to thank Westies for his time with us also.
Really nice lad and a class act.
Once he picks up the pace of AFL, Adelaide will have two 'Dangerfields'. Very similar style.

The match report I wrote for the footy almanac:
http://www.footyalmanac.com.au/afl-round-2-brisbane-vs-adelaide-theres-only-one-p-dangerfield/
Brad Crouch made an accomplished debut, and Patrick Dangerfield showed why he is a class above. Rory Sloane was also at his gut busting best.
Apart from that it was a fairly unremarkable game in slippery conditions, but a very good 4 points to put in the bank.
You have to admire the way this Adelaide side responds to a loss - they are still yet to lose 2 games in a row under Sanderson's guidance.
