corporate bookie does it again
we all remember the corporate bookie that refused to pay on a clients first4 dividend, as seen on tv (don't know the outcome there) anyway the same mob has paid out a big win to a long time Glenelg Restaurant owner ($22,000.00) only to take it out the next day , i can't say much more than that but believe me he wont take it lying down so stay tuned

Re: corporate bookie does it again
Bet365 did have an issue with a non payment to a punter for about $73,000
Punter Steve Brunker invested almost $5,000 on a pick 4 race at Ipswich dogs 27/7/2012
The actual pool invested in this pick 4 totaled about $4,700
One must conclude that Bet365 held the clients bet and did not lay off
This is what each dog was paying at the completion of the race on Unitab
1. 2.50
2. 10.20
3. 25.40
4. 3.00
5. 18.40
6. 11.10
7. 12.20
8. 11.80
The result
3-5-4-8
The only live units on this combination was at a fraction % of the dividend
The Pick 4 declared dividend was $14.632.50
The only monies that can be paid to Unitab punters is the pool size of $4700 , less commissions deducted by Unitab
Steve Brunker got this P4 for several units with B365 , and it ends up being about a $73,000 collect [he must have got it for about $5 worth of units]
On face value it appears that B365 is obliged to payout Steve Brunker
They didnt , and from what I gather the media blew up the story
Adelaides Nick X represented Brunker in the media
B365 did offer Brunker a reduced settlement[about $25,000] , I think later , possibly because of the adverse publicity that was created
Racing Authorities looked into the race
2 dogs in this race were stood down for failing to chase[the dogs didnt try]
Both dogs were suspended from racing for 28 days
Those dogs were
1 Finishing Forcer [$2-50 fav]
6 Octane Moment [$18.30]
There have been reports from various sources since
The plot thickens
Included in these 'alleged' reports are :
The 2 dogs that were suspended being kenneled by a Matthew Brunker
Reports claim that Matthew Brunker and Steve Brunker are related to each other
What does one make of all this ?

Re: corporate bookie does it again
one would come to an assumption that the racing industry is open to a level of corruption, however the corporates do pay on the $1 divvie displayed even though that figure isnt real!

Re: corporate bookie does it again
What I make of all of this is he (Brunker) was a very astute punter and very aware of the form of some of those dogs, or maybe something else ???

Re: corporate bookie does it again
High roller Nathan Tinkler allegedly owes Luxbet just under $180k
Ha, this is the same bookie who has curtailed my betting activities after I won about 1.5% of what Tinkler allegedly owes .
Luxbet gave credit to Tinkler , but stopped credit with me , a person who had always paid any debit balances due
It is reported there are more than 50 court actions pending against Tinkler , that include businesses, creditors and bookies
