Mobile phone zombies
Are you one? Can't live without your mobile phone? Forever sending text messages and ignoring people around you who want to have a simple conversation. I call them Mobile phone zombies, those that can't stay off the bloody things. There's no doubt that it's been a great and useful invention but it's taking over peoples lives and where would they be if mobiles suddenly dissappeard off the face of the earth, they would be lost. Don't get me wrong as i have one and use it only when i have to, i don't even send text messages, can't stand doing it.... mainly because i need my reading glasses to do it lol.

Re: Mobile phone zombies
Interesting.
I only said to a mate at who started TAFE last year "Did you meet any new people or friends?"
His reply was "No one talks to you. I walked out on my lunch break with every person on their iPhone".
You are right blacky. We have forgotten how to communicate with each other.
I went out with a friend the other night and as I was talking all he was doing was texting and looking at his phone. Really got up me!!! (or am I that boring of a person?)
I really dont like the things but you are stuffed without them.

No need for a smart phone though Southee IMO. That's what most people are doing, fartarsing around in the internet or facebook.
I've made the decision to stick with a basic phone. I only need to be able to call or text when necessary, I've got the internet at home and at work which covers the majority of the rest of my time should I need it for anything.
