I notice down the bottom, especially if you want an AFL gig, they can make it happen. I wonder how...

I note on the website that they announced 3 retirements including Daniel Lees. Leesy had a bad injury run in his time.
Was he around at St Micks when you were there HTWWW? You were probably before his time.
A side note is that they too are advertising for a new First 18 coach.

Leesy was actually the Grade level above me. I'm pretty sure he's a 2001 grad and I followed in 2002.

In times of crisis, the Magpies always turn to experience from within the club. I'm half expecting John Cahill to be appointed.

Re: Anyone want this coaching job?
Darren Mead would be an interesting choice seeing he missed out when Tim Ginever got the job........pure speculation would Mark Mickan throw his hat in the ring if Andrew Collins continues at Westies ? Ian Cox resigned his assistant coaching role at the bay, i wonder whether the lure of the head coaching role would entice him to apply ?

What did Mead do with GAZA when he was head coach a few years ago?
Potentially becoming Port Magpies head coach is a bit of an upgrade from U/11s at SMOSH West Lakes!

Cotton withdrawing from the Port Adelaide job indicates to me that he will be the next Norwood coach, whenever that will occur.

Agreed, Bass will go at some point, possibly at quick notice, so Norwood need a succession plan to ensure a smooth transition.
